grit and perseverance!

 grit and perserverence!

at school today we were lerening about grit and perservernace so we make some creates to show are learning about grit and perserverence hope you like my create.
Here's anther one:
When ydiard showed grit and perseverance when nearly got killed by doing a walk, Lydiard decided that he would get better at walking so he started to train his self  then years later he won some medals in some marathons

I learned from Lydiard that if you try hard enough and don't stop trying you can accomplish anything

I have shown grit and  perseverance when my chain came off in the mc donlads duathlon I didn't give up I fixed my chain and started again and I have shown grit and perseverance when I couldn't think of an idea for my create but I diden stop trying and in the end I got an idea

Comment if you saw Lydiard race!

House of Bricks Reflection

today we had a visite from House of Bricks and we did a Reflection here is my Reflection  My favourite Lego activity was mosaics because It was nice and peaceful and I was in control of the build and it was cool spinning the bricks and seeing the colours mix and move.

My least favourite Lego activity was the swapping build activity because when we got to free build the teacher said that I could not go to the technique because I did the technique in the swapping half.

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was the car building challenge because it was hard to make the car go further and I had to keep on trying and making changes.

The most challenging activity was the car building challenge because it was hard to make the car go far. We would of had a better run if we had taken the big motor off the back because it made the car uneven and it drove into the side of the track slowing it down.

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because we didn't argue and we helped each other, and in the racing cars, my partner was really helpful hope you liked my Reflection

Magical Margaret Mahy playground

On Thursday, 20 May we when to Margaret Mahy playground. First we got to the waka. The waka was really fun and I was sad when we had to get off. After we got off the waka we went strolling in Victoria square I started to collect some small acorns after we walked for a bit we tried to draw a picture of a pou. But then we had to go. With Mrs Carney's session we learnt  about the playground and the carvings in the ground but sadly we had to are next session what was feeding the eels and learning about the mats

My favourite part of the trip was the waka because it was really fun to sing are song on the waka well taping the oras on the side of the waka and I was really sad when we had to get off.

On my trip I learnt that wakas were only used for war and that there not used to get places.

The thing I found the most interesting was the eel feeding giving you never new when the eels were going to pop up and eat the food on the spoon.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because it helped me get an idea for what I could do for my PBL.

thanks for reading about my trip
have you been on the waka down at Margaret Mahy playground? please comment.
